During the 2024–2025 academic year, Istanbul Kültür University continued offering the “Sustainable Development and Education” course as part of its open-access educational activities. Originally launched in the previous year, the course was further enriched and reimplemented based on feedback received from students and community participants.

The course was open not only to enrolled students but also to a wider audience, including alumni, local residents, and displaced individuals. In this way, the university continued its mission to raise awareness of global challenges at the societal level.

Over the course of 14 weeks, each session focused on a different Sustainable Development Goal (SDG). Through interactive discussions, applied projects, and community-based assessments, participants’ knowledge and awareness of sustainability were strengthened.
