Istanbul Kültür University adopts a holistic approach in providing support services for individuals with disabilities, ensuring that every student participates in academic, social, and psychological life under equal conditions. These services are coordinated by the Disability Support Unit, which directly addresses all academic and administrative support requests of students with disabilities throughout their education process.
Within the campus, students with disabilities are provided with accessible transportation, priority in dormitory placements and shuttle services, as well as special privileges in campus cafes and restaurants. In addition, the Psychological Counseling and Guidance Application and Research Center (RPD-UAM) organizes individual counseling, group therapy sessions, and psychoeducation programs to strengthen the psychological resilience of students with disabilities.

Furthermore, within the scope of the mentorship programs coordinated by Kültür Noktası, students with disabilities are assigned personalized mentors who provide one-on-one support in areas such as academic adaptation, social engagement, and participation in campus life. In the 2024–2025 academic year, 155 mentor students participated in the project, where second-, third-, and fourth-year students mentored first-year students, providing support in areas such as academic adaptation, time management, campus facilities, club activities, and psychological resilience.
The Disability Support Unit also offers assistant support, sign language interpreters, and exam accommodations to students upon request, creating an inclusive and accessible learning environment across the university.
