4.3.5. Equal access policy

Istanbul Kültür University conducts its educational processes with a student-centered, innovative, and inclusive approach. The university’s Education and Training Policy is based on supporting lifelong learning and creating accessible and high-quality learning environments for everyone. In this context, open education opportunities, distance learning programs, and lifelong learning activities aimed at different segments of society are organized to ensure that individuals have equal access to knowledge and learning opportunities.

The Kültür Constitution, which defines the university’s core values, forms the foundation of its equitable and inclusive approach maintained since its establishment. The principle “Kültürlü is universal” emphasizes respect for different cultures, beliefs, and ideas; the principle “Kültürlü is student-centered” highlights an educational approach that prioritizes the rights and needs of every individual; and the principle “Kültürlü supports multidimensionality” underlines a flexible and holistic learning process that considers individual differences.

Since its foundation, Istanbul Kültür University has maintained an educational approach that upholds freedom of thought and belief, human rights, peace, and democratic values without discrimination of any kind. Educational processes are continuously improved through the “Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA)” cycle and are carried out with the participation of all stakeholders.
